Hi! I'm Brian.

About Brian Moore

I’m the photographer behind There Is Moore Photography, a Flower Mound-based photography business serving families, couples, graduates, individuals, and wedding clients throughout Dallas-Fort Worth.

I believe the best photographs do more than look beautiful. They preserve relationships, milestones, and moments in a way that becomes more meaningful with time.

Whether I’m photographing a growing family, a graduating senior, an engaged couple, or someone celebrating an important chapter in life, my goal is to create photographs that are polished, personal, and true to the people in front of the camera.

Why Photography Matters to Me

When I’m not behind the camera, I’m a husband and father.

My wife and I have been married for eleven years, and together we are raising two energetic boys who provide a constant reminder of how quickly life moves. One season seems to become the next almost overnight. That perspective has shaped the way I think about photography.

Family photographs, graduation portraits, engagement sessions, weddings, and even simple everyday milestones can feel ordinary when we are living through them. Years later, those same photographs can become some of the most meaningful things we own. I never take lightly the trust a client places in me when they ask me to preserve part of their story.

A Life Shaped by Different Places

Travel has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Because of my father’s military service, I spent part of my childhood living in Germany and grew up experiencing different places, cultures, and perspectives. I still love to travel today. My favorite destinations so far are Santorini, Greece and Fiji.

Those experiences helped shape the way I see the world and, eventually, the way I approach photography. I tend to notice details, environments, light, architecture, and the small things that give a place or moment its character. Every person and every family brings something different to a session. I want the photographs to reflect that rather than forcing everyone into the same formula.

Creativity Meets Precision

Outside of photography, I also work as a Vice President at a large financial institution. Finance and photography may seem unrelated, but there is more overlap than you might expect. Both reward preparation, attention to detail, consistency, and the ability to make good decisions under pressure. Those qualities carry directly into the client experience I provide.

I want sessions to feel organized without feeling rigid. I plan carefully, communicate clearly, and pay attention to the details so my clients can focus on enjoying the experience.

My Approach to Photography

Photography is where creativity and technical precision come together for me. I use careful composition, natural direction, and professional off-camera lighting when it improves the photograph. This allows me to create greater depth, clean skin tones, and consistent results across a wide range of lighting conditions.

The goal is never to make an image look overly produced. I want the finished photograph to feel natural, while still carrying the polish, dimension, and visual impact that define my work.

Just as important, I want the people in front of the camera to feel comfortable. I provide guidance throughout the session, but I also leave room for genuine expressions, interaction, and the moments that cannot be perfectly planned.

At the End of the Day, It’s About People

The technical side of photography matters to me. So does the artistic side. But neither matters very much without a meaningful subject.

Photography is ultimately about people, relationships, accomplishments, and moments worth remembering. I am grateful every time someone chooses me to document an important part of their life.

Whether you are planning a family session, celebrating a graduation, preparing for a proposal, getting married, or simply want portraits that reflect who you are right now, I would be honored to work with you.

I look forward to creating something meaningful together.
